The role features a 40-hour week with a starting salary of £31,500 and potential OTE earnings up to £46,000. A £2,000 welcome bonus is provided, with extensive Mercedes‑Benz training and development opportunities available in a supportive workshop environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) is required.
• At least two years of hands-on automotive experience.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to embrace EV technology training.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Mercedes Vans per manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose faults accurately and implement repairs.
• Replace parts, oils, and fluids and keep records.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment.
• Communicate service and repair needs clearly to customers.
• Engage in ongoing training and development programs.

LSH Auto is looking for a talented Van Technician to join our team at our flagship dealership located in Stockport. This role will be vital in ensuring our Mercedes Vans are maintained to the highest standards of quality and performance.

Welcome Bonus: £2000

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

Salary: Starting at £31,500 with potential OTE earnings of up to £46,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Mercedes Benz vans in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and implement effective repairs.
• Replace parts, oils, and fluids as necessary, keeping thorough records.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment across the workshop.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle service and repair needs.

Essential Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or a recognised equivalent qualification.
• At least two years of hands‑on experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A valid UK driving licence (required).
• A willingness to embrace ongoing training and learning opportunities, especially in electric vehicle technologies.
