Job summary

Apex M&E Solutions Ltd is seeking a qualified Joiner to join our mobile maintenance team serving the Leeds and York area, covering the LNER route. You will deliver high-quality reactive repairs and planned maintenance across electrical, plumbing and fabric works, with on-site duties predominantly at stations and site facilities.

The role requires time-served joinery experience, a calm customer-focused approach, and a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Time served Joiner/Fabric engineer with a maintenance background.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Background in mobile engineering/property maintenance.
Strong competencies in building services trades.
Good customer service skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent understanding of Health and Safety.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

To ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPM’s are completed within the contract defined time SLA’s & KPI’s.
Ensure the Client, Customer and Team are ‘kept in the loop’ through feedback and regular updates.
Contribute to the delivery of a quality service, aiming for 100% satisfaction of the Customer.
Communicate daily with helpdesk/Supervisor regarding status of PPM and Reactive tasks.
To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
Ensure site logbooks are kept up to date.
