Job summary

Vertu Motors PLC is seeking a Mobile SMART Repair Technician to be based across our Stoke-area dealerships. You will deliver high-quality cosmetic repairs, ensuring right-first-time results for customers and the business.

This role involves preparation work, paint touch-ups, and cosmetic refurbishment of wheels, with an emphasis on speed and accuracy. The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications and has experience repairing various vehicle makes.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ in relevant field.
• Experience repairing all makes of vehicles.
• Ability to work within time constraints for right first-time repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preparation work, local paintwork and cosmetic refurbishing of road wheels on vehicles.
• Perform light filling repairs as part of cosmetic repairs.
• Ensure repairs are completed to a high standard with right-first-time accuracy.

Vertu Cosmetic Repair - Stoke

Due to internal promotion, at Vertu Motors PLC we are looking to recruit a Mobile SMART Repair Technician, to be based across our dealerships in the Stoke area. This is a key position which has a major part in achieving our success, by providing a professional ‘right first-time repairs’ to our customers and dealerships.

We are offering a competitive basic salary with an OTE up to £47,000

This position is to fulfil dealership requirements, and to carry out any scheduled repairs that have been pre-arranged. This role will involve carrying out preparation work, local paintwork, light filling repairs, and cosmetic refurbishing of road wheels on vehicles, to name but a few of the tasks.

In order to be successful for this role you will be an experienced SMART Repair Technician and will possess all relevant qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ). Ideally you will be experienced in the repair of all makes of vehicles, be proficient and accurate, with the ability to work within time constraints and deadlines. You will be able to work within guidelines ensuring ‘right first-time repairs’.
