Job summary

Vertu Motors PLC is recruiting a Mobile SMART Repair Technician to be based across our Staffordshire/ West Midlands Region dealerships. You will perform preparation work, paint and cosmetic repairs, ensuring right-first-time outcomes while meeting tight deadlines.

The role requires City & Guilds or NVQ in SMART repair and experience across various car makes. You will enjoy ongoing training and employee benefits within a supportive automotive group.

Qualifications

• Experienced SMART Repair Technician with City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications.
• Experience repairing a range of vehicle makes and models.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and deliver right-first-time repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preparation work, local paintwork and light filling repairs.
• Cosmetic refurbishing of wheels and related cosmetic repairs.
• Work across our Staffordshire/West Midlands dealership network to meet requirements.

Vertu Cosmetic Repair - Staffordshire/ West Midlands Region

Due to internal promotion, at Vertu Motors PLC we are looking to recruit a Mobile SMART Repair Technician, to be based across our dealerships in the Staffordshire/ West Midlands Regionarea. This is a key position which has a major part in achieving our success, by providing a professional 'right first-time repairs' to our customers and dealerships.

We are offering a competitive basic salary with an OTE up to£47,000

This position is to fulfil dealership requirements, and to carry out any scheduled repairs that have been pre-arranged. This role will involve carrying out preparation work, local paintwork, light filling repairs, and cosmetic refurbishing of road wheels on vehicles, to name but a few of the tasks.

In order to be successful for this role you will be an experienced SMART Repair Technician and will possess all relevant qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ). Ideally you will be experienced in the repair of all makes of vehicles, be proficient and accurate, with the ability to work within time constraints and deadlines. You will be able to work within guidelines ensuring 'right first-time repairs'.
