Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a Mobile Site Supervisor to lead a team at Stockton and Wellesbourne Recycling Centres. You will supervise staff, ensure safe, efficient operations, and maintain environmental compliance while supporting the public with waste disposal.

The role requires working outdoors in all weather, handling physical tasks, operating machinery, and flexibility to cover across sites. Closing date: 9 November 2026. Salary is up to £16.61 per hour on a 7-day rota.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the public at a recycling/waste centre.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weathers and perform physical tasks.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team to meet safety and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team delivering customer service at the recycling centre.
• Ensure Duty of Care and legislative compliance and provide adequate waste containers.
• Operate and maintain plant machinery as required.
• Cover other sites when needed and respond to rota requirements.
