Job summary

Nationwide Platforms is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to visit customer sites around Aberdeen, carrying out maintenance, repairs and inspections on powered access machines to a high standard. You will require a general maintenance qualification with plant/diesel experience and enjoy regular training updates.

Qualifications

• Relevant general maintenance qualification and proven experience gained within the plant rental sector preferred.
• Experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics and diagnostics/fault finding.
• Have the ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Fault-finding, servicing and repairs of powered access equipment at depot and on customer sites.
• Routine service and maintenance of all equipment.
• Complete all relevant paperwork in line with company procedures.
• Carry out refurbishment of equipment where necessary.
• Promote teamwork across depots for effective workshop performance.
• Estimate and advise on repair costs and provide recommendations.
• Ensure van is stocked with spare parts.
• Maintain service records and daily worksheets.
• Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines at work.
• Represent the company professionally to customers.
• Lead by example under Your Safety is our Priority.
• Carry out other tasks as required.
