Job summary

Nationwide Platforms Ltd. is looking for a Mobile Service Engineer to visit customer sites across Bedford and surrounding areas, carrying out maintenance, repairs and inspections on our powered access machines to a high standard.

You will receive regular technical training updates and join the UK market leader in powered access, with a comprehensive package including a van, fuel card, on-call allowance, 25 days holiday, bank holidays, life assurance and health insurance.

Qualifications

General maintenance qualification and experience in plant rental preferred.
Experience with plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics and hydraulics.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure with good customer service.

Responsibilities

Fault-finding, servicing, repairs and maintenance of powered access equipment in depot and on customer sites.
Routine service and maintenance of all equipment and products.
Complete all relevant paperwork in line with company procedures.
Refurbishment of equipment and products where necessary.
Promote teamwork between colleagues across depots to ensure workshop performance.
Estimate and advise on repair costs and write-offs to customers.
Ensure the van is stocked with spare parts at all times.
Maintain service records and daily worksheets in systems.
Adhere to Health & Safety at Work guidelines.
Lead from the front on 'Your Safety is our Priority'.
Carry out other tasks and duties as required.
