Terberg DTS is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to service, repair, diagnose, and support specialist Terberg vehicles at customer sites across the region. You will work independently, travel to client locations, and deliver high-quality technical support while upholding safety standards.

The role requires fault-finding and diagnostic expertise, experience on heavy vehicles, and a Full UK Driving Licence. Terberg DTS offers continuous training, career progression, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills, particularly in auto-electrics.
• Experience working on HGVs, plant machinery, specialist vehicles, or similar equipment.
• Confidence using modern diagnostic systems.
• A proactive, self‑motivated approach with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and customer focus.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing Terberg and specialist vehicles at customer locations.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Carrying out inspections and identifying wear, damage, and potential failures.
• Completing repairs safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
• Producing accurate service reports and repair recommendations.
• Managing van stock and ensuring parts are available when needed.
• Building strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
• Working independently while maintaining the highest safety standards.
• Participating in ongoing training and development to grow your skills.
