Job summary

Terberg DTS is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer in the UK to service, repair, and diagnose Terberg and specialist vehicles at customer sites. You’ll travel to client locations, carry out inspections, and deliver first-class technical support while upholding manufacturer standards.

You will diagnose faults with modern diagnostic equipment, perform repairs, manage van stock, and generate precise service reports.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification is required.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, particularly in auto-electrics.
• Experience working on HGVs, plant machinery, specialist vehicles, or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing Terberg and specialist vehicles at customer locations.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Carrying out inspections and identifying wear, damage, and potential failures.
• Completing repairs safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
• Producing accurate service reports and repair recommendations.
• Managing van stock and ensuring parts are available when needed.
• Building strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
• Working independently while maintaining the highest safety standards.
• Participating in ongoing training and development to grow your skills.
