Job summary

Securitas Birmingham is seeking a Mobile Patrol Officer to deliver professional mobile security services across client sites in a designated area. You will conduct patrols, alarm responses, property inspections, lock/unlock duties, and escorts while upholding the company’s values of integrity, vigilance and helpfulness.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to work across locations. Full UK working rights and a valid SIA licence are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA licence.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year history.
• UK residency for the past 5 years.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mobile security services, including patrols, alarm responses, property inspections, lock/unlock duties, and escort services.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
• Follow site instructions and work effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Wear the correct uniform and display your SIA licence and ID card.
• Complete vehicle checks and handovers at the start and end of each shift.
• Drive safely, following road traffic regulations and company procedures.
• Manage keys securely in line with company policy.
• Report incidents, risks, and accidents accurately using company systems.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Be flexible to work across different locations and support operational needs.
• Protect company assets and ensure equipment is used correctly.
