Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Area Relief Officer to supervise access control, monitor activity and respond to incidents across a defined radius around Newcastle. This is a daytime, 40-hour week role with multi-site coverage.

You will hold an SIA licence, DBS and BS7858 clearance, have Right to Work in the UK, and a valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle. The position involves travel between sites and delivering high levels of security and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Pass enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance.
• Holding a valid SIA Licence is required.
• Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee access control and monitor activity across court and tribunal sites.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a professional, secure manner.
• Control building access in line with security procedures.
• Operate security equipment including CCTV and screening where applicable.
• Patrol and report incidents, ensuring safety of visitors and staff.
