Job summary

Mitie is seeking security guards to cover DWP sites across the region, including Kings Lynn, Dereham, Fakenham, Wisbech, Peterborough, Thetford. A Full UK driving licence is required.

The role involves patrolling sites, responding to incidents, liaising with police and emergency services, and maintaining a high level of customer service for staff and visitors. Eligible candidates should have previous security experience and DS Licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for DWP staff, visitors and property.
• Patrol the premises regularly to identify potential security threats.
• Respond to emergencies or suspicious situations.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Provide high level customer service and assist staff and visitors on security matters.
• Conduct routine security checks and submit incident reports.
