South West Norse is seeking a Mobile Kitchen Manager to support sites across the Plymouth and Ivybridge region on a part-time, permanent basis. The role involves delivering menus with locally sourced ingredients and supervising a small on-site team to ensure meals are prepared to a high standard.

You will manage school catering, accommodate modified diets, contribute to menu planning and costing, and work a 9:30am–2:30pm schedule, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Formación

• Experience leading a busy kitchen environment and coordinating catering staff.
• Knowledge of menu development and costing with focus on healthy meals.
• Relevant Food Hygiene qualification with practical catering experience.
• Full Driving Licence is essential for a mobile role.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the catering department for children within the school.
• Provide input on modified diets and allergy/sensory considerations.
• Assist with menu planning and costing to deliver nutritious lunchtimes.
• Lead and direct a small on-site team to ensure on-time, high-quality preparation.
