Job summary

Norse Group is seeking a Mobile Cook Manager to work across Norwich and Kings Lynn areas. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, with shift patterns 7:30am–6:30pm and weekends on/off.

The position pays £15.40 per hour and involves leading kitchen and catering staff to provide nutritious meals to residents in our care homes. You will manage food safety, diet requirements (IDDSI), and use our kitchen management system to keep paperwork to a minimum while delivering high-quality service and

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen environment with an organised approach.
• Knowledge of textured modified diets (IDDSI) and working to a set budget.
• Strong customer service mindset and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage kitchens and catering staff, including preparing, cooking and serving meals to residents.
• Ensure food safety, health and safety, and allergen management are followed.
• Use the kitchen management system and handover processes to maintain smooth operations.
