Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef to provide cover in Hampshire from Basingstoke to Portsmouth on a mobile basis. The role is term-time only (38 weeks per year) with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and £16.00 per hour plus mileage.

You will prepare, cook and present food to standards, follow Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, manage inventories and assist with budgets. Own transport required.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
