Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Mobile Catering Manager to support KEVIAT schools across the Birmingham area. You will lead catering teams, maintain food quality and safety, and ensure excellent service across multiple sites.

The role requires flexibility to travel between schools, strong leadership, and knowledge of food safety. A full driving licence is essential and term-time, permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising catering operations, preferably within education, contract catering or a high-volume food service environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work across different locations.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Support catering operations across multiple KEVIAT school sites.
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to catering teams.
• Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation and customer service.
• Monitor food safety, health & safety and allergen management standards.
• Support stock control, ordering and cost management processes.
• Assist with training, coaching and development of colleagues.
• Provide operational support during periods of change, absence or increased demand.
• Build positive relationships with school staff, pupils and Sodexo teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with Sodexo policies and client requirements.
