Ganymede Solutions Limited in London seeks a Rolling Stock Technician specialising in service train interior repairs. You will repair bathrooms, sinks, toilets, panels, doors, and fixtures to maintain passenger comfort and safety across the rail network.

This mobile role involves diagnosing faults, conducting quality checks, organising tools and parts, and keeping clear maintenance records. The 4 on / 4 off pattern provides a balanced work-life structure.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical fitting or plumbing, ideally with hands-on exposure to interior fixtures or a facilities background.
• Rolling stock experience or PTS certification is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to diagnose faults quickly and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Comfort working both independently in a mobile role and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Bringing train interiors back to life, focusing on bathrooms, sinks, toilets, flush mechanisms, hand dryers, panels, and doors; each repair improves passenger experience.
• Using problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix faults quickly, keeping trains on schedule.
• Conducting quality checks to ensure safety, hygiene and comfort standards are met.
• Organising and managing tools, parts and stock to keep the team prepared.
• Keeping clear records of work to demonstrate impact and professionalism.
• Balancing independent field work with teamwork on mobile assignments.
