Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Rolling Stock Technician – Interiors On-board Team in London (Dartford area). You will repair train interiors including bathrooms, panels and doors to ensure passenger comfort and safety across the network, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

This mobile, hands-on role requires problem-solving, quality checks, and efficient organisation of tools and stock. Training is provided; the role is inside IR35 with Umbrella or PAYE pay options.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical fitting or plumbing, ideally with hands-on exposure to interior fixtures or a facilities background.
• Ability to diagnose faults quickly and perform repairs on train interiors.
• Strong attention to safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Repair train interiors focusing on bathrooms, sinks, toilets, flush mechanisms, hand dryers, panels and doors.
• Diagnose faults, keep trains on schedule, and ensure passenger comfort.
• Conduct quality checks to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
• Organise and manage tools, parts, and stock for mobile assignments.
• Keep clear records of work performed and outcomes.
• Work independently and as part of a team on mobile jobs.
