Mobile Roaming Security Officer – SIA Licence is essential to be considered for the role

ASEL designs, develops, and delivers fully bespoke and integrated security solutions, seamlessly combining people, technology, and processes to achieve results-driven outcomes. As pioneers in security risk modelling, which has revolutionised the industry, our business is underpinned by our risk advisory practice, utilising data and insight to identify and mitigate risks, inform strategy, prevent crime, and reduce costs.

This role aims to support the client in delivering industry-leading services. As the forefront of the business, it is expected that you will provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders. You will be deployed to high-risk areas/locations to support our client, adopting a proactive approach to modern guarding techniques.

Location: Swindon and Surrounding areas

Hourly Rate: £12.50

Hours: 40 per week

Shift Pattern: 08:00 - 16:00 & 14:30 - 22:30, with alternate weekends and shifts

Essential Requirements:

• Full UK Manual driving license (vehicle provided)
• Phone & Tablet provided

Main Responsibilities:

• Work flexibly across multiple locations using a company vehicle
• Patrol assigned stores, prioritising activities based on intelligence
• Maintain high visibility and interact with clients’ staff and the public
• Liaise with management, local authorities, and police when necessary
• Ensure a safe and secure environment
• Manage vulnerable persons with empathy
• Conduct searches and security checks as required
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders via radio and digital reporting
• Report incidents and gather intelligence
• Identify trends in criminal activity and communicate findings
• Operate Body Worn Cameras in line with safety policies

Desirable Person Requirements:

• SIA accreditation

Additional Essential Requirements:

• Experience in retail security guarding
• Strong communication skills
• Smart appearance
• Ability to handle conflict professionally

Knowledge and Experience:

At least 1 year of front-line security guarding experience.

Personal Skills and Qualities:

• Excellent communication skills
• Positive work ethic
• Good IT knowledge
• Confidence in high-pressure situations
