Platform Housing Group is seeking a Retirement Housing Officer to cover Leicestershire and surrounding areas. This full-time, permanent role focuses on housing and tenancy management, offering regular resident contact and preventative support across a specialist housing team.

You will signpost to care services, perform building management tasks, and coordinate safety/compliance checks. A driving licence and Enhanced DBS are required to operate across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role in housing or with older people in retirement housing.
• Customer focused and able to solve complex issues.
• Desirable awareness of working with vulnerable adults.
• Knowledge of TEC alarm systems and fire alarm systems (Le Grand, Appello) desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups.
• Committed to delivering high standards and improving services.
• Confidence using digital devices and ICT software.
• Valid driving licence and own vehicle; travel across Leicestershire required.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide housing and tenancy management to maximise tenancy sustainment.
• Be regular contact for residents, offering practical and preventative support and advice.
• Signpost to specialist care and support services to maximise wellbeing and reduce isolation.
• Manage buildings, including inspections, risk assessments, and H&S compliance checks.
• Respond to breaches of tenancy and take timely action.
