Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a proactive Security Team Leader to manage Mobile Response Officers at the BBC W1 Campus. The role involves leading incident response, maintaining high standards of professionalism, and coordinating daily briefings and trainings to ensure readiness for any security event.

You will oversee incident procedures, liaise with police, and drive performance across the team while adhering to AI instructions and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience in a similar Team Leader role or security environment.
• IT literacy core competences.
• Report writing competencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mobile Response Officers to BBC W1 Campus, ensuring security and incident response according to AI's.
• Maintain high standard of dress code and professional conduct.
• Know routine and emergency procedures; respond quickly and appropriately to incidents.
• Prepare for events; briefing officers and ensuring task readiness.
• Complete mandatory training and maintain up-to-date qualifications.
• Issue daily and ad-hoc briefings to the team.
• Act as Incident Commander when required.
• Foster liaison with local police and other stakeholders.
• Produce monthly reports to Senior Management Team.
