Job description

Job Title: Mobile Electrical Engineer

Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday

We are seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our maintenance team on an exciting retail contract covering the Slough area.

Purpose of Role

The Mobile Electrical Engineer will be responsible for electrical and building maintenance tasks, including PPM servicing, fault-finding, reactive breakdown repairs, and minor installations. The role involves maintaining electrical building services systems and infrastructure such as power, 3-Phase, lighting/emergency lighting, alarms, and EV charging points. The engineer will receive City and Guilds training to support EV charging point maintenance and will engage with stakeholders to diagnose faults.

Responsibilities

1. Undertake electrical and building maintenance works including PPM servicing and reactive repairs.
2. Fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical systems and infrastructure.
3. Assist with minor electrical installation works.
4. Participate in City and Guilds training courses for EV charging points.
5. Engage with stakeholders to provide fault diagnostics and maintenance support.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Proven reactive maintenance experience in a commercial environment.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and ECS Card.
• City & Guilds Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent).
• Capable of electrical installation work.
