Mobile Smart Repair Technician – Hampshire area

I am working with a dealership in Basingstoke who are seeking a Mobile SMART Repair Technician.

Job Details

• Role: Mobile Smart Repair Technician
• Location: Basingstoke (Mobile role covering Hampshire)
• Salary: £40k plus bonus and benefits

Responsibilities

Seeking a Mobile Smart Repair Technician from an automotive Body Shop or Smart environment, via an independent or franchised garage. Responsibilities include preparing damaged panels, masking vehicles for painting, carrying out minor repairs to body panels and alloy wheels, polishing vehicles post-painting, and other ad hoc duties.

You will be an integral part of our team working on all types of vehicle makes in a modern, clean workshop. The role involves smart repairs to cars and LCV vehicles within the Bodyshop.

Key Duties

• Repair and refurbish vehicle damages such as scratches, scuffs, dents, windscreen chips, upholstery, leather reconditioning, recolouring, and wheel refurbishments.
• Clean and prepare vehicles for repair.
• Perform cosmetic paint touch-ups and local paintwork repairs.
• Maintain equipment regularly and report issues to the Bodyshop Manager.

About You

• Previous experience as a Smart Repairer within any bodyshop environment.
• Body shop or equivalent experience; qualifications are advantageous.
• Full driving licence.
• Ability to work under tight timescales and thrive in a busy department.
