Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Mobile Repair Technician to work onsite at Ruislip. The role involves manual tasks, diagnostics, and travel across internal and customer sites within a 40-hour workweek (Mon–Fri).

Job description

evidenceWorking across operational and training sites, performing manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and tool use This role involves manual work and requires passing a targeted medical questionnaire and/or medical examination. The role is based onsite at Ruislip and offers a potential remuneration of up to £53,785.80, including a £41,350.50 base salary and allowances for shift work (£5,375.57), MRT allowance (£3,014.03) and on-call allowance (£4,045.70). The set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 40 hours per week. Regular travel across internal and customer sites is expected.

Essential experience of the Mobile Repair Technician:

• Full UK driving licence (Category B essential; Category C desirable)
• Strong diagnostic skills and a methodical fault resolution
• High attention to quality and safety
• Understanding of workshop health and safety practices

Qualifications for the, Mobile Repair Technician:

• City & Guilds Levels 1 and 2 in Motor Vehicle Studies, orNVQ Levels 2 and 3
• in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
