Mobile Remedial Electrician (Commercial / Industrial Property Maintenance)

Salary: GBP40k Basic + Overtime and Shift Allowance + Fully Expensed Company Van + Benefits

Location: Salisbury and surrounding area (Regional coverage)

Hours: Various (premium rates paid for unsocial working). Full-time, Permanent Position.

Our client is one of the largest companies in the UK, providing specialist electrical testing services to occupied premises. Their work includes testing fixed wiring, switchgear, and control equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards, whether in schools, hospitals, offices, retail, or industrial units.

Following inspections by their Test and Inspection Engineers, Electricians perform upgrades and repairs, such as replacing breakers or upgrading switches across industrial units. The role requires adaptability and quick thinking as each day presents new challenges.

The field electricians are vital to the company's operations, serving as the frontline and the face of the business.

This is a permanent role with a fully expensed company van, excellent benefits, and a competitive salary. Plenty of work and overtime are available for motivated individuals.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to support our Maintenance and Repairs team covering Salisbury and surrounding areas. Work is scheduled in advance and coordinated via our Operations Planning team based at Head Office in West Yorkshire. You will collaborate with your dedicated works coordinator, maintaining communication with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• City and Guilds 2391:52 (or equivalent) in Inspection and Testing.
• NVQ Level 3.
• 18th Edition.
• Deep knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and relevant standards.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid UK driving license (or equivalent, depending on location).
