Mobile Refrigeration Engineer – Field Based – Bristol

Position Overview:

As the Mobile Refrigeration Engineer, you will attend maintenance and breakdown jobs, aiming for a ‘first fix’ on customer sites, ensuring high customer care and satisfaction. You will also take preventative measures on refrigeration and bodywork to achieve the company’s goal of zero breakdowns.

Responsibilities:

1. Respond to breakdown calls professionally and promptly.
2. Survey sites where products are to be fitted.
3. Coordinate with Service Controller or Service Support Engineer before departure to confirm the issue and parts needed.
4. Attend client sites for product deliveries, providing operating instructions and safety guidance.
5. Identify and fix faults, then perform quality checks to ensure systems operate safely and correctly.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a similar role.
2. Ability to work well within a team.
3. Qualified refrigeration engineer with any of the following certifications:
   • Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
   • Diploma in Installing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems
   • Diploma in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pump Systems
