Job summary

Workdry International Ltd is seeking a Mobile Fitter to join the Liverpool team, covering the surrounding region. The role involves carrying out pump maintenance at the branch and on customer sites, with an on-call rota that offers enhanced payments and overtime rates.

We look for a candidate with NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), experience with engines, and a willingness to train and develop within the role.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience working with engines or a mechanical engineering background
• Experience of working in a plant environment, on site with customers and in a workshop would be beneficial
• Active listening, taking on board information and translating into practical solutions
• Willingness to grow within the role, open to training opportunities and developing existing knowledge
• Full UK driving licence, as the role involves site visits and breakdowns

Responsibilities

• Work safely with a priority on PPE requirements
• Communicate accurately with colleagues and customers
• Obtain signatures and names from sites to ensure smooth processing of tasks
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and vehicles
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports to ensure safety
• Carry out tasks as instructed or trained in a timely manner
• Follow company policies and procedures
