Job summary

Selwood Ltd seeks a Mobile Fitter to support mechanical pump maintenance at customer sites and the Chandlers Ford branch. The role includes a call-out rota with standby allowance and overtime potential, plus travel to client sites across the surrounding region.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ level 3 in mechanical engineering or equivalent, experience with engines, and a full UK driving licence. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in Mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with engines or mechanical engineering background.
• Experience on plant sites with customers and in a workshop is a plus.
• Full UK driving license with 6 points or less.
• Willingness to train and develop in the role.

Responsibilities

• Work safely as a priority with knowledge of PPE requirements.
• Communicate accurately with colleagues and customers.
• Obtain signatures and names from sites for smooth task processing.
• Maintain clean work areas and vehicles.
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports to ensure safety.
• Carry out tasks as instructed or per training within a timely manner.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
