Job summary

Think Recruitment are seeking an experienced Plumber Multi-Trade Operative in Worcester to perform responsive repairs in occupied social housing properties. The role covers plumbing repairs, basic carpentry, and plastering, requiring a valid UK driving licence and NVQ or C&G Level 2 in Plumbing.

Contract: Temporary to permanent. Salary: £21-£23 per hour (CIS or Umbrella). Company van and fuel card provided, with a focus on safety and professional tenant communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience completing plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Experience working in social housing or occupied properties.
• Competent in plumbing, basic carpentry and patch plastering.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive plumbing repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, taps, toilets, basins, waste pipes and other plumbing fittings.
• Replace faulty fittings and test repairs to ensure everything is working correctly.
• Undertake basic carpentry repairs to doors, locks, handles and kitchen units.
• Complete patch plastering and minor making-good work following repairs.
• Communicate professionally with tenants and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
