Job summary

Equans is seeking a Mobile Plumber to join our team on the North Lanarkshire Schools contract based from Bellshill, ML4 3NJ. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will deliver reactive response, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance across school facilities, working with colleagues, customers, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient works that meet contractual and legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in planned preventative maintenance and reactive response work.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Able to read and interpret technical diagrams.
• Willingness to undertake further training and development.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first-fix reactive and rectification works, fault-finding and resolution.
• Provide second-fix reactive support and technical assistance to colleagues.
• Complete planned preventive maintenance in line with contractual requirements.
• Identify and rectify faults while ensuring compliance with legislation and procedures.
• Install, commission and service plant and equipment.
• Maintain records and documentation for works performed.
