Job summary

Equans is seeking a Mobile Janitor to service North Lanarkshire schools, across Bellshill, ML4 3LR, on a permanent basis. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a two-week rota covering early, mid and back shifts, including some weekends.

It requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, plus the ability to work across multiple sites safely. You will perform opening/closing duties, basic cleaning, site checks and respond to emergencies while supporting site security.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
• Ability to work across multiple sites
• Commitment to safety, security and high standards.
• Experience in janitorial, facilities or caretaking roles.
• Desirable: Experience in a school or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close school premises safely.
• Carry out basic cleaning and site checks.
• Respond to emergencies and follow procedures.
• Support site security and liaise with emergency services when required.
