Job summary

Holcim is seeking a Mobile Plant Operative/Site Labourer at Glensanda Quarry. The role is suitable for reliable, proactive individuals willing to travel and stay away from home. 7 days on/off, 7am–7pm, start ASAP.

The initial contract is 3 months with a view to permanency. Responsibilities include general site maintenance, waste movement, and operating site machinery while upholding strict health and safety standards. Driving licence is desirable due to remote site location.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct manual handling.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Previous labouring experience.
• Some knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.
• Driving licence and use of a car is desirable due to location of the site, however, public transport is available.
• HGV, Trailer, Tractor experience is all advantageous.

Role: Mobile plant operative/ Site labourer

Location: Glensanda Quarry, Rhugh Garbh Depot, Barcaldine, PA37 1SE

Rate: £18.00ph

Contract length: 3 months initially but with the view to go permanent

Shift Patterns: working 7 days a week 7am till 7pm, 1 week on, 1 week off. Weds-Weds

Start: ASAP
