Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD in Birmingham is recruiting a Mobile Plant Fitter to maintain and service a mixed fleet. The role covers inspection, testing, repairs, welding and fabrication work with on-site and field duties.

The ideal candidate will have proven Plant Mechanic experience, an NVQ in engineering (desirable), and knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. The job offers good pay, overtime, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven working ability in a Plant Mechanic role.
• NVQ in relevant engineering discipline is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems is essential.
• Flexibility to work early mornings and late finishes to keep fleet fit and serviceable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service the company’s mixed and specialist fleet.
• Perform inspection, testing, repairs, welding and fabrication work.
• Ensure fleet is kept in a safe, operable condition and compliant.
