Job summary

Pertemps are recruiting a Mobile Plant Mechanic to join our client's team in Leeds. Location: Leeds. Pay Rate: £19.19 per hour. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30.

We seek a motivated mechanic to service, repair and maintain a variety of plant and equipment, ensuring safety and high maintenance standards. Training and guidance will be provided for apprentices and operators.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing and repairing plant and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular plant inspections and scheduled servicing.
• Diagnose and resolve technical and mechanical issues.
• Complete on and off-hire PDI inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams and management.
• Provide guidance and support to apprentices and operators.
• Respond to unforeseen mechanical issues when required.

Pay Rate: £19.19 per hour

Contract: Minimum 12 weeks, with the opportunity for extension for the right candidate.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mobile Plant Mechanic to join a busy workshop team. The role involves servicing, repairing and maintaining a variety of plant and equipment, resolving mechanical issues and ensuring high standards of safety and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular plant inspections and scheduled servicing.
• Diagnose and resolve technical and mechanical issues.
