Job summary
Tru Talent is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter/Plant Engineer to join their Reading-based operation. The role covers servicing, diagnostics and repairs across a range of construction plant, with travel to customer sites and the workshop for planned maintenance.
A strong background in plant maintenance, fault-finding and hydraulic/electrical systems is ideal. The position offers a competitive basic salary of £47,840 with an OTE of £60k+ and overtime paid at 1.5x.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Plant Maintenance or Engineering.
- Proven ability to fault-find mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Experience servicing and preventative maintenance of plant machinery.
- Full UK driving licence required.
Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing construction plant and heavy machinery.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).
- Attending customer sites for mobile repairs and breakdowns.
- Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and routine checks.
- Ensuring repairs are performed safely and to high standards.
