Job summary
Torrent Trackside, part of Vp plc, is seeking a Mobile Fitter to cover the Glasgow Central area. The role involves maintenance, service and repair work on customer assets at their premises, both solo and in teams, ensuring equipment meets manufacturer specs.
You will need to be a time-served plant fitter or mechanic, hold a Full UK Driving Licence, and be comfortable with petrol/diesel engines, 12V electrical systems and battery powered tools.
Qualifications
- Time served Plant Fitter or Mechanic
- Full UK Driving licence
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair of small plant engines (petrol 2 stroke, 4 stroke and diesels), 12V electrical systems, battery powered tools
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, service, repair of company and customer assets at customer premises.
- Work on your own and as part of a team at customer premises ensuring equipment is maintained to manufacturer specifications at all times.
- Complete company paperwork and ensure safe working practices are observed and followed at all times.
- Ensure van stock is kept to required level by ordering service and repair parts as needed.
