Job summary

Unify are recruiting a Mobile Plant Fitter to join our established plant division. You will maintain, diagnose faults, fit and service a range of ADT’s, Dozers, Telehandlers, Excavators and agricultural equipment across the Midlands.

The role is permanent, 42.5 hours per week, with a salary of £15.50–£18.00 per hour and a company vehicle provided. A strong background in plant maintenance and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in plant or construction equipment maintenance.
• Strong organisational, time keeping and communication skills
• NVQ or equivalent qualification in construction plant mechanics or similar.
• Keen attention to detail and a solution-focused approach to tasks.
• CSCS card desirable but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs and diagnostic checks on plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues effectively and efficiently.
• Carry out regular fluid monitoring and lubrication as well as replenishment.
• Carry out fitting replacement parts, preventative maintenance and monitoring of machinery
• Perform servicing in line with manufacturers' specifications and standards.
• You’ll also have the opportunity to support the across the Digital division with the installation of GPS and machine control systems, human-form recognition cameras, height and slew restriction technology and other emerging solutions as the division continues to develop. Full product training and ongoing support will be provided where required
