Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is seeking a Mobile Plant Fitter to service, maintain and repair plant equipment across the region. The role includes field-based workload, on-site support, and delivering high levels of customer service.

You will diagnose faults, attend breakdowns, and perform routine servicing with an eye for safety and compliance. A UK driving licence and related qualifications are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience working on plant, agricultural, or similar equipment.
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) ideally; full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair plant machinery across the region.
• Attend breakdowns and scheduled maintenance at customer sites.

The Role

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of plant machinery, supporting customers across the region both on-site and in the field.

Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing plant machinery
• Attending breakdowns and scheduled maintenance on customer sites
• Carrying out routine servicing and compliance inspections
• Providing a high level of technical support and customer service
• Managing your own workload effectively in a field-based role

About You
