CV Technical Limited is seeking a Mobile & Workshop Plant Fitter to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of construction plant equipment across mobile and workshop environments, based near Eastleigh.

You will fault‑find, carry out planned maintenance and repairs, and resolve equipment breakdowns to keep machines operating efficiently for projects across Southern England. Covering sites across the region may be required.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer or Construction Plant Mechanic looking for your next opportunity?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Mobile & Workshop Plant Fitter to join their team, maintaining and repairing a large fleet of construction equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on engineer with experience working on plant machinery who enjoys fault‑finding, carrying out repairs and keeping essential equipment operating efficiently.

The Role

As a Mobile & Workshop Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a varied fleet of construction plant machinery, working across both mobile and workshop-based environments.

The fleet includes:

• Excavators ranging from 800kg to 14 tonnes


• Dumpers, including tracked dumpers and machines up to 9 tonnes


• Telehandlers


• Rollers


• Other construction plant and equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and servicing of construction plant machinery


• Diagnose faults and undertake mechanical repairs


• Identify and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently
