Keys Education is recruiting an Outdoor Education Instructor to deliver engaging outdoor experiences that build confidence, resilience and life skills in young people. The role involves delivering a multi-activity programme and requires the ability to plan and run varied activities across a mobile region.

We value enthusiasm, relevant qualifications or strong experience in outdoor activities, and the commitment to safeguarding and high-quality learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required; role is mobile across the region.
• Experience working with young people.
• NGB qualifications or significant experience in climbing, mountain walking/navigation, paddle-sports or caving.
• 16-hour Outdoor First Aid Qualification (we can facilitate this).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging and professional outdoor activities with high-quality learning outcomes.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills.
• Lead and manage groups confidently, including in challenging situations.
• Be motivated, positive and enthusiastic about outdoor learning.
• Contribute to a fast-developing provision and share strengths with the team.
