Job summary

Keys is seeking an Outdoor Education Instructor to deliver meaningful outdoor experiences for young people across schools and children’s homes. You’ll help build confidence, resilience and essential life skills through long-term engagement in outdoor learning.

Whether you’re qualified or just starting out, if you’ve got the passion to inspire others outdoors – we want to hear from you. A Full UK Driving Licence is required as the role is mobile across Lincoln.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence – role is mobile across Lincoln for Keys.
• Experience or interest in outdoor activities such as biking, climbing, paddling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging and professionally delivered activities with quality learning outcomes.
• Communicate effectively and manage groups, even in challenging situations.
• Be motivated, positive and enthusiastic about outdoor learning.
• Support learners across schools and children's homes through long-term engagement.
• Ideally previous similar experience, but attitude and enthusiasm are valued.

Salary : £26,436 to £29,500 Full-time, Term-time, or Part-time options available (depending on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities

• As an Outdoor Instructor, you will deliver activities that are safe, engaging, and professionally delivered, ensuring participants achieve high-quality learning outcomes
• Have excellent communication and people skills
• Be confident leading and managing groups, even in challenging situations
• Be motivated, positive, and enthusiastic about outdoor learning
• Ideally have previous experience in a similar role (although attitude and enthusiasm are just as important)
