Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a Home Visits Optical Assistant to visit customers in their homes and care homes across NW postcode areas. You will conduct clinics, dispense glasses, and deliver eyewear with a patient-first approach.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential. The role requires prior optical experience, confidence in dispensing at all levels, and the ability to work independently using tablet/laptop systems.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience (6 months to 1 year) and the ability to dispense at all levels, measure and fit.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car full-time.
• Experience in fast-paced customer-facing environments and comfortable using tablets/laptops.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in homes and care homes, carrying out clinics and delivering glasses.
• Provide a high-quality professional optical service and great customer experience.
