Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a Home Visits Optical Assistant to deliver eye care to patients at their homes across the Kent region. You will dispense lenses and provide clinical support in varied testing environments, bringing care directly to the community.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a car, with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm. A £3,000 annual car allowance and Specsavers Perks benefit package are included.

Qualifications

• Current or previous optical experience (6 months–1 year) and ability to dispense at all levels.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car full-time.

Responsibilities

• Cover the Kent region providing eyecare to vulnerable patients in their own homes.
• Work across a range of locations and testing environments.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth home-visit service delivery.
