Job summary

Specsavers in London is seeking a Home Visits Optical Assistant to deliver high-quality service to patients in their homes and in care settings. You will conduct clinics and deliver glasses, using your optical experience to work independently and provide a great customer experience.

To succeed, you should have recent optical experience, be able to dispense at all levels, measure and fit, and hold a full UK driving licence with access to a car. A car allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience (6 months–1 year) and ability to dispense at all levels.
• Measuring and fitting eyewear with confidence.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car full-time.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their homes and in care settings to deliver glasses and provide a high-quality service.
• Carry out clinics and ensure a great customer experience on every visit.
• Work with the London 8 Domiciliary Team and travel within specified postcode areas.
