Job summary

Specsavers in Barry, covering Swansea, Bridgend, Barry and occasionally Cardiff, is seeking a Home Visits Optical Assistant. You’ll drive a company car to patients’ homes, delivering aftercare and basic tasks that can’t be done in-store, bringing clinical care and smiles to your community.

The role offers great training and development opportunities, Monday to Friday core hours 8.30am to 5.30pm, and benefits through Specsavers Perks and WeCare.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience is required.
• Must have a full UK driving license.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer facing environment.
• Experience in optics.
• Be confident using new systems as well as tablet and / or laptop.

Responsibilities

• Deliver optical services and aftercare at customers' homes.
• Provide basic tasks to assist customers who cannot visit stores.
