Job summary

Specsavers is expanding its Home Visits Optical Delivery team in the UK. We are seeking a dedicated Home Visits Optical Assistant to bring expert care directly to patients' doors, delivering aftercare and basic tasks that help them stay independent at home.

You will use a company car, cover Swansea, Bridgend, Barry and parts of Cardiff from our Barry-based office, and join a friendly team with strong training and development opportunities while supporting vulnerable customers.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Experience in optics.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical
• Be confident using new systems as well as tablet and / or laptop.

Responsibilities

• Deliver optical care and aftercare at patients' homes.
• Use company car to reach doorsteps.
• Support patients with basic tasks to maintain independence.
• Represent Specsavers with professional, compassionate service.

Home Visits Optical Delivery

Ready to take your skills on the road? As a home visits optical assistant at Specsavers, you can do just that.

You'll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing aftercare to the people who aren't able to come into our stores. But not only do you help them with their sight, you'll be able to support them to get basic tasks done that they wouldn't be able to do without you. Essentially, you'll be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.

Our business

The office team are based in the lovely offices in Barry, but you'll cover Swansea, Bridgend, Barry and on occassion Cardiff, depending on your location. You will be providing care to vulnerable patients.

We have a wonderful existing team of dedicated people from optical and administrative backgrounds, who ready and waiting for you to meet.

Our cars

You'll be provided with a company car which is fully expensed that you will use to bring your care and services directly to people's homes.

What we’re looking for?
