Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a Home Visits Optical Assistant to travel across Kent and provide essential eye care at patients’ homes. You will dispense lenses, support patients, and work with a regional team in diverse testing environments.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, access to a car, and a 40-hour week with a Monday–Friday schedule. A car allowance and pension contribute to a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current or previous optical experience (minimum of 6 months-1 year) and you must be able to confidently dispense at all levels.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car full-time.
• Comfortable using tablets and laptops for service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide eye care and services during home visits across Kent.
• Visit patients at their homes and deliver clinical care.
• Work in varied testing environments and adapt to locations.
