Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Mobile Multiskilled Engineer with electrical or mechanical bias to join our facilities management team. Based in Northampton and mobile across the region, you will perform planned maintenance, reactive fault finding, repairs and occasional installations, ensuring the highest standards are met while engaging with clients.

You will work 40 hours per week, with an on-call rota for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Formal electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
• Level 2/3 Mechanical or Plumbing qualification.
• Experience in a similar Facilities Management role.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned maintenance, reactive fault finding and repairs across the region.
• Carry out electrical tests and record results on completion.
• Provide emergency on-call support on a rota basis.
• Diagnose faults and take actions to maintain safe operation.
• Interact with clients to ensure high service standards.

We are currently seeking a professional Mobile Multiskilled Engineer with either Electrical or Mechanical Bias who will undertake the planned maintenance, reactive fault finding and repairs and occasional installation based within a core contract across the region. You will be committed to ensuring the highest standards are adhered to at all times and readily interact with our clients as required.

You will work independently to undertake the Planned Maintenance tasks requested, to ensure compliance with the specification, PPM, Schedules and Procedures complete electronic/paperwork records and provide quotations for outstanding actions. You will carry out the required electrical tests and recording the results on completion on electrical repairs and installations.

As the Mobile Multiskilled Engineer, you will be required to provide emergency call-out support in respect of our clients needs in line with a rota basis. In addition, you will achieve a prompt effective response to emergency situations to ensure clients systems are not prejudiced and to maintain the continuity of operation as far as practical circumstance will allow.

You will be capable of system fault diagnosis and initiating action to make safe/prevent deterioration in environmental conditions within our client premises.

• Demonstratable experience in a similar Facilities Management role
• Must have a valid UK Driving Licence
