Job summary

Brandon James Ltd is seeking three experienced Multi-Skilled Engineers to support a diverse commercial property portfolio across Milton Keynes and Cambridge. The role emphasizes proactive engineering to improve asset performance, reliability and safety, using asset data to identify faults and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-skilled maintenance within commercial building services.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and basic building fabric systems (HVAC, pumps, lighting, plumbing).
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or trade qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and minor works.
• Maintain mechanical, electrical and building fabric systems.
• Diagnose faults, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Complete statutory inspections, testing and maintenance per legislation.
• Maintain HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, ventilation, lighting, plumbing and LV systems.
• Use BMS, CAFM systems and mobile tech to record/manage maintenance.
• Work with technical teams, bureau engineers and supply chain partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset reliability and engineering performance.
