Job summary

IMSERV is seeking a Field Technician to join the metering team in the UK. You will be out on the road installing, maintaining and troubleshooting metering equipment at customer sites, with reporting to the Regional Field Manager to ensure service standards are met.

You will install and maintain meters, diagnose faults on-site, programme and test meters, inspect connections, and support complex BMS systems. A full UK driving licence is essential and you will manage van stock and complete reports

Qualifications

• Must hold SMICOP qualification
• Minimum 24 months’ experience installing electric meters
• Full UK driving licence
• Solid knowledge of metering setups and equipment

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electricity meters (whole current, LV and HV)
• Diagnose and fix faults on-site
• Program, read and test meters and related equipment
• Inspect meters and connections for defects or unauthorised work
• Support installation and maintenance of complex BMS systems
• Complete job reports and paperwork accurately and on time
• Manage van stock and perform vehicle compliance checks
